I just tried making an oversized postcard with some great washi and stickers that I received in a swap today. Then I realized it probably woudn't survive the trip through the mail, so I tried laminating it with packaging tape. Bad idea! It's got bubbles in it and these weird black lines appeared where the tape overlapped. I spent a good amount of time on it and don't want to just throw it away, so I thought someone else might get a chuckle out of it. So, the idea of this swap is to either send something you have made (postcard, note card or greeting card} that didn't turn out the way you wanted or you can make a postcard, note card or greeting card specifically for this swap and deliberately mess it up in some way. Might be a good time to experiment with a new technique you've been wanting to try. I have no idea if this will interest anyone, but someone is going to get my wacky postcard one way or another. Write a little note to your partner about whatever you want (maybe explain your "mistake" or what you were trying to accomplish) and send it off. Don't forget to include your swap bot name. | |
